Jeremiah Evats, deced.

Know all men by these presents that we Conrad Rutter [Jr.], Joseph Rutter and Matthew [Lery?] all of the County of Lancaster and Province of Pennsylvania, yeomen, are jointly held and severally bound unto William Plumsted, [Register?] General for ye probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the Province of Pennsylvania and Counties of Newcastle, Kent and Sussex upon Delaware in the sum of three hundred pounds lawfull money of Pennsylvania to be paid Wm. Plumsted, his certain attorney, executors, administrators or assigns.  To the said payment well and truly to be made we being ourselves jointly and severally our heirs, executors, administrators each and every of them firmly by the said presents sealed with our seals and dated this twenty seventh day of March in the year of our Lord 1746.

The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounder, Conrad Rutter, administrator of all and [singular?] the goods, chattles, rights and credits of Jeremia Evats, deced, do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, rights and credits of the deced. which shall come to the hands or possession of the said Conrad Rutter, or unto the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made, do, exhibit or [cause?] to be exhibited into the Registers Office at Lancaster at or before the twenty sixth day of April next ensuing, and the same goods, chattles, rights and credits of the said Deced. which at the time of his death or which at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of the said Conrad Rutter or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him do well and truly administer according to the law further do make or cause to be made a true and just account of their said administration at or before the twenty sixth day of April now next call the rest and residue of the said goods, chattles, rights and credits which shall be found upon the said Administration Account (the same being first examined and allowed of by the Orphan’s Court of the said County, shall deliver and pay to such person or persons respectively as the said Orphan’s Court by their decree or sentence pursuant to ye true intent and meaning of the act entitled : an act for the better settling [?] estates) shall limit and appoint; and if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the said Deced, and the Executor or Executors do exhibit the same in to ye into the Registers Office making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly if the sd. Conrad Rutter above bound on being there unto required do tender or deliver
